The Herbert's are Expecting!: 37 Weeks

I am starting my 37th week and I am feeling pretty good considering she is the size of a watermelon. Or so they say! It is very surreal that she can come any day now - and the fact that I am "full-term" is a little weird for sure. But alas, the waiting game begins and Steve and I are just trying to enjoy our final days as a "kid-free" couple!

This weekend is St. Patricks day and if anyone knows Steve and I - its the holiday that is even more important than Christmas, or at least on the same scale!! We are planning on going out - only to Pearl St, somewhere close to home on the just in case factor - but nonetheless, we are still planning on having a fun St. Pattys day! Crazy to believe that this time last year, I was doing a handstand contest with our 6'5 friend Josh and yelling at everyone, "YOU WHORE!" ... but times have changed and I guess the drunk St. Patty's day will be behind me! At least for this year! HA!

This past weekend, I had some of the girls over to help me put up a tree decal ... it was one of those things where I bought it, got it out of the tube and immediately said - HELL NO. So I had some friends over to help me! (lets be honest - I just did not want to do the work!!) So ... slowly but surely - the nursery is getting completed!

But everything is still going great, we have a doctors appt. on Friday and we will see how that goes. We just cannot wait for Emerson to get here!!
